About WealthGPA
Welcome to WealthGPA — a place where financial clarity replaces confusion, and everyday people learn how to build a life of freedom, security, and peace of mind. My mission is to make financial literacy accessible to everyone – regardless of your background, income, or experience. Because financial freedom isn’t just for the wealthy – it’s for anyone willing to work how money really works.
Money impacts every part of our lives – yet most of us were never taught in school how to manage it. Schools prepare us for careers, not for financial freedom. This blog was created to close the gap.
I also understand that different people face different financial challenges and that the path isn’t the same for everyone. I recognize the unique needs of those just beginning their financial journey, professional immigrants navigating new systems, high-income W-2 earners trying to keep more of what they make, and families focused on long-term stability and generational security.
That’s why I strive to provide guidance tailored to these specific situations—without losing sight of the bigger mission: empowering anyone, from any background, to build lasting financial confidence. Over time, on this blog you will find:
- Practical strategies for saving, budgeting, investing, and reducing taxes
- Simple frameworks that help you make better decisions with less stress
- Guides for high-income earners who want to keep more of what they make
- Tools, templates and checklists to help you track progress and build confidence
- Straight talk—because money shouldn’t feel mysterious or overwhelming
My goal is to help you slowly raise your WealthGPA… so you can eventually reach what we all truly want: financial peace of mind. No hype. No get-rich-quick promises. No one-size-fits-all advice. Just clear, actionable guidance to help you build the life you envision—with confidence.

My Story
I didn’t grow up understanding money. Like many people, I was taught to study hard, get a good job, and life would work itself out. But no one ever explained how to actually manage money—how to invest, how to save, how to build wealth, or how to create real financial freedom.
I did what most driven, first-generation professionals do:
I worked harder. I earned more.
And yet, I still felt behind.
I remember nights when I’d stare at my paystub—seeing a high salary on paper, but somehow still feeling like I didn’t have control. Taxes were confusing. Investing felt overwhelming. And with family responsibilities and cultural expectations, the pressure only grew. I stumbled, made mistakes, and learned through trial and error. I talked to financial advisors where I was often upsold products that I did not want.
It wasn’t until I hit a turning point—tired of working so hard without feeling financially confident—that I decided something had to change. I began studying money with the same intensity I once studied for exams. I devoured books, watched lectures, spoke with advisors, and tested every strategy I could get my hands on.
Slowly, everything started to make sense. I realized wealth wasn’t about luck or special access—it was about understanding the rules that most of us were never taught. And once I learned those rules, everything shifted: my confidence, my stability, my long-term vision, and ultimately, my peace of mind.
As I grew more confident in my financial decisions, something unexpected happened: Friends and family started coming to me for advice. They’d call with questions about investments, taxes, saving for a home, or choosing the right accounts. They trusted me to simplify the noise, translate the jargon, and help them make better decisions.
And every time I helped someone gain clarity or avoid a costly mistake, it reminded me how many people were struggling silently—smart, hardworking people who simply weren’t taught how money works.
That’s why I created WealthGPA.
Not to show off.
Not to pretend I have all the answers.
But to share the guidance I wish someone had shared with me years ago—and the same guidance my friends and family trust today.
Because I know what it feels like to start from scratch.
I know what it feels like to be a high-earning W-2 worker and still wonder where the money goes.
I know what it feels like to carry family expectations, financial pressure, and the desire to build a better life—all at the same time.
This is more than a finance blog.
It’s a place for clarity.
A place for empowerment.
A place for anyone—from any background—to build the financial confidence we all deserve.
My journey is just starting. And if you’re here, reading this, then I’d be honored to walk alongside you on yours
